HEAT AND PRESSURE.
HEAT AND PRESSURE
Josephat S. Hema
My brothers would need the flat bottles lids which
were required at school for counting practices and sometimes just for their
normal games. They would sometime call them coins and use them in their
childhood dramas.
They found a better way to flatten the lids since we
lived in a street where the railway crossed. They knew the time when the train
would pass so they kept on waiting around and put all their metallic objects
they wished to have them super flattened on rails when they saw the train
coming from afar.
The mechanism was just simple so to think, as the
heavy vehicle passed, it compressed the iron tiny objects .Its high speed would
produce high heat energy through friction which made the objects flatten easily.
The objects looked shiny, soft and hence beautiful to the extent that we called
them money. We would do that over and over until we shifted to another street.
The process of flattening the iron objects was
fascinating but this was only since we couldn’t imagine the tremendously large
heat and pressure the objects were passing through and enduring. This is widely
applicable in our life, we sometimes see people successful and praise their
success but remain in our very normal standards of life by avoiding the risks
of heat and pressure. Every success has a bitter story behind,we only shine out
if we endure those moments and not let them pull us back and give up. Moments
of failure, heartbreaks, bankruptcy, negativities, loneliness, rejection and
sometimes sweat and tears mean to make one stronger for the coming great
success, only people who overcome these are able to answer precisely the
questions about their success.
The effect of Heat and Pressure is what makes Gold
shiny and pure and hence more priceless.
