FREEDOM TO GROW
FREEDOM TO GROW
Josephat S. Hema
(This
knowledge is the continuation of the previous blog post entitled FREEDOM.)
On
our ways towards great expectations and dreams as Christ's ambassadors, we will
need to grow. We will need to display positive changes towards those ways up.
And hence you easily find that there is a significant relationship between
growth and freedom, whereby freedom comes in first place.
Growth
is simply the function of Freedom, in a simple way it’s a free item that grows.
Think of a diseased baby, with Mid-Upper Arm Circumference indicator at the Red
color, admitted in Pediatrics word characterized with stunted growth, typical
characters of a child not freed from diseases and starvation. Or a tree devoid
of enough space with less air and sunlight effect, and off course less water
alongside with no necessary nutrients, leading to a stunted growth.
No freedom,
no growth.
FREEDOM
How
are we set free? Who prays that role?
Look
here,
St. John 8:32 and you will know the truth, and
the truth will set you free."
The
Truth sets free,
What
is the truth?
St. John 17:17
Sanctify
them by the truth; your word is truth.
The
Truth is the Word.
St. John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God.
The
Word is Jesus
St. John 8:36
So
if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
In
the synagogue JESUS said,
St. Luke 4:18-19
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because
he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to
proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set
the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s
favour."
Jesus
is the on that sets free.
GROWTH
Self-betterment,
maturity or positive improvements on someone's status, standards or quality of
performance and life at large.
The
writer of the Hebrews book, had some concerns on his own self betterment by
comparing his childhood and maturity statuses.
Hebrews 5:14(NLT)
Solid
food is for those who are mature, who have trained themselves to recognize the
difference between right and wrong and then do what is right.
Also
PAUL the Apostle accredited Jesus for his changes, urguing Christians to follow
his ways as they are Christ's too.
1 Corinthians 11:1
Follow
my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
He
additionally add up that the source of life changes (growth) is Holy Spirit.
And that a person led by the Spirit of God is not under law that is free from
law.
Galatians 5:16-18
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not
gratify the desires of the flesh.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the
Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with
each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.
But
if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Peter,
the Apostle popped out the same message to Christian, encouraging them to feed
on right pastures for their growth in salvation.
1 Peter 2:2
Like
new-born babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in
your salvation,
Hence
growth is a biblical widely spoken concept.
Growth is attributed
to the Totality of people and your experiences and how you react against them.
It’s connecting the dots. The seminars, the academics, talks, outings, games, competitions, examination, friends, guardians
and so and so.

God himself.

leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers.

everything starts from your inner man, your spirit.
You have an authority
to let in the Spirit of God to help you get rid of growth inhibitors and
empower the growth promoters by having a control in your inner man, your
spirit.
THE FIRST INTELLIGENT
